I think he can hold his own among the finest percussion guys out there today. I truly enjoy watching him play and I would say he was the best performer on the stage on this night of Steely Dan. That is saying something considering the company on the stage. Walter Becker even said from the stage….this rock band was trying to steal our drummer this Summer and we said “no way.” I gave him a stand-in ovation towards the end of the show. I was joined by most of the front rows. He was off the meter and usually is. Go see this band while you can see them live.
