http://www.allmanbrothersband.com Gregg Allman playing on stage with the Allman Brothers in Charlotte on labor day weekend 2013. I would not say this is my best picture by far of Gregg. Actually my camera mostly stayed in my pocket so I could enjoy the show and just feel the moment. The music was awesome as always. It was nice to be close but I should have been a little closer. The band was sounding great as always. Since this is my fifth decade listening to this band I should know how they compare to other shows I have seen. They were sounding as fine as they ever have.

Here is a video from a song that I wanted to hear that night. It wasn’t played at this show but I still remember the first time I heard it live in New Orleans in the Superdome in 1974.
