Russ is a master on the drums. Note the label on the music stand. This one came from Jimmy’s studio across town. Shrimpboat Sound. I asked Russ after the show why he had the charts on stage on that stand. He told me he had never played any of those 20 or so songs. He charted them from recordings right before the performance and played them all from the charts. He is some kind of talent with an amazing resume.
