Clint Bullard at the Sunset Tiki Bar in Key West

http://clintbullard.com So if you are in Key West you should find your way to the Sunset Tiki Bar and watch my pal Clint Bullard play. He is a great songwriter and performer…I must have lived in Texas in a past life as I am always drawn to the music of people who come from that area. On this night it was very warm but the ocean breeze and the fans were helping. I finally figured out that domestics were two for one and switched to breakfast beer, AKA  Michelob Ultra….or maybe I had a couple of margaritas, either way the music was great. I was at a very cool bar with many of the locals I have come to know. It is sort of the cool place to hang out when in Key West. I enjoyed every minute of it. My recently departed friend Bill Buckner was there in spirit. He and I always loved to watch Clint play over and over. That was sort of our thing when we were in Key West together. I will never forget those moments. Bill was with me on this night.

So without going on and on…although I did hear some Robert Earl Keen “The Road Goes on Forever, and the Party Never Ends” on this night….I called it in two chords….here is a favorite song of mine that brings many memories and I always request although it was played without request on this night. “Dom Perignon and Leftover Chicken.”

Until next time, I’ll see you, down the road.
