As I am catching up my blog I already know this pair has announced a hiatus from the Allman Brothers Band after the 2014 tour. I think I understand why and I appreciate the need to slow down sometimes and try something different. I am sure it is a grind to try to run your own life, your own music gig, and be in a name-brand band. My hope is after everyone takes a break it all comes back together. This band has had a fabulous ride and they play the song list in a way few could duplicate. ‘Nuff said.
