Paul Thorn

http://www.paulthorn.com  Paul made a comment that by the time in his career he thought he would be playing a big stage vs. a “dress shop.” The crowd laughed as we all know that his band can rock some pretty large sold-out halls. We were the lucky ones to see him in an intimate setting. It was a great evening in downtown Greensboro on Elm Street. There were two forty minute sets and every song ran you through the emotion of laughing to thinking about real-life situations Paul is describing in his own way. I think that is the attraction of his show. The  lyrics that ring though to your life experiences and the way that only he can talk you through it with his Mississippi accent. I can tell you that he got a standing ovation as he left the stage. I think everyone in that room was feeling good on Friday night and that is just the way a good show should make you feel. Yes it is.

Until next time, I’ll see you, down the road.
